I have come closer to realizing my dream and start to build the 10-year hedge fund, called Stock Following®, whose main activity will be in the years 2021-2030.
For those of you who are not familiar with the Stock Following® project, I recommend watching its brief presentation. Now I’ll only say that I’ve been going to this day since September 2010: conducting investment research, trading, teaching students. And all these, to develop an investment methodology that would allow me to beat the stock market (that is, to create “alpha”). Today is Tuesday, the seventh of January 2020, and precisely thirteen years since I first set foot on the land of the United States. I think this is a great moment to move from theory to practice. For me, investing is the most amazing of all activities. Therefore, I decided to start this blog not only to talk about my investment methodology and the progress of the project but also to share my thoughts with those of you who, like me, are interested in long-term, active investing in the U.S. stock market.
